Book Discussion: "Chaos: Charles Manson, The CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties" by Tom O'Neill

August 9, 1969 is a date that will live in infamy. It was an era that anyone with even a fleeting cognitive recall would be able to recite the address—10050 Cielo Drive from memory—and for many, many years to come.. It was also the site of second high profile death of a beautiful actress—following Jayne Mansfield by two years—only this time—it was murder.

As the Manson Clan was prosecuted and ultimately convicted of this murder ands others--Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi would cash in as a hero and author.

But did his need for inarguably-stark prosecutorial margins compromise the truth?\

Tom O'Neill thinks so. And today I discuss his fascinating book.
