This week, we continued our series on The Prayers of Paul, as we walked through Philippians 1:3-11.

Paul’s prayer teaches us that the gospel unites us, encouraging us to pray for Christ’s work to be completed in us.

By looking at Paul’s prayer, we see:

1. Christ’s beginning work is what encourages prayer (vv.3–5, 7–8)
2. Christ’s continued work is what shapes the content of our prayers (vv.6, 9–11)
