S2E16 - Be Careful What You Wish For (Boozed, Blues, and Birthday Cake)

It's Dawson's birthday and he's not handling it well. He decides to partake in Andie's vague therapist's request by getting trashed, singing the blues, and telling off everyone he cares about. Joey helps throw Dawson's surprise party after she denies his professed love for her. But Joey gets a surprise of her own when she catches Abby making out with Jack, who is coping with everyone's reaction to him coming out. Jen finally breaks up with Ty, but only after they recreate the Titanic handprint scene. Gale and Mitch work towards aligning on how to parent their son despite their separation, which does not include a brand new SUV.

S2E15 - ..That is the question (poetry, sexuality, and ugly crying)

Oh my god, Jack and Andie's dad sucks SO MUCH. Their absent, abandoning father comes to clarify Jack's sexuality. Joey asks Dawson, "Am I sexual?" Jen is surprised when Grams puts Ty in his place for being a judgmental jerk. Pacey holds an awful teacher accountable for his terrible actions and has nothing to be sorry about.

S2E14 - To Be or Not to Be... (aka a spitty teacher and a poem)

Everyone loses their mind over a poem Jack wrote. They all make the rumor of Jack's sexuality about them. Andie kind of sucks. Dawson thinks he should be involved for some reason. Joey lacks any tact on how to broach this rumor with Jack. Meanwhile, Pacey escalates things by spitting in the teacher's face for making Jack read his poem in front of the class. This results in the threat of suspension for Pacey if he does not apologize (which he doesn't). And Jack is taking everyone's self-centeredness like a champ. Oh. And Jen is finding the problematic Ty to be full of surprises (aka drinking and liking jazz).

S2E13 - His Leading Lady (aka nude models, xanax, and cringe)

The whole gang (plus pretentious college thespian Devon) work together to make Dawson's movie about his breakup with Joey. For some reason, Joey and Jack agree to help. Meanwhile, Andie and Pacey are at odds because Pacey thinks he can single-handedly cure generalized anxiety disorder. And Jen finally gets her grandmother's respect (sort of)!

S2E12 - Uncharted Waters (aka letting your dad win at darts)

Dawson and Pacey are on a fishing trip with their dads, and Jack's there. Tensions run high with Pacey and his father while Dawson is oblivious to his fortune with his father. The girls help Gale with her news piece while getting close and getting real with each other, and Abby's there. All the squabbles the teens have get put to bed, which is safely away from the edge of the dock.

S2E11 - Sex, She Wrote (aka whose sex is it???)

Last episode, the kids split off into couples to make out. But, according to a note found in English class, one of those couples had SEX! Abby and Chris go on a crusade for the truth and a passing grade. Pacey acts super weird to Andie. Jen and Jack commiserate on being the backup lover. And Dawson and Joey are back on their bullspit.

S2E10 - High Risk Behavior (aka the one where Dawson and Pacey almost kiss)

Jack poses nude for Joey and waxes poetic about an experience he's had one time. Joey learns how to be in a room with a naked man. Pacey orchestrates Andie's picture perfect evening to lose her virginity to, but in the end, Pacey stops them from going all the way? Jen helps Dawson with casting for his new film while also trying to find where she fits into the story. And for the love of god can we please stop talking about Dawson's script?

S2E9 - The Election (aka Mitch wins the wet t-shirt contest)

Andie and Joey enter the absurdity of high school student politics. Pacey learns how to manage scandals from the Clinton campaign. Dawson gets a glimmer of hope from his parents only to be disappointed. Jen helps him heal through skinny-dipping. And Abbie is the worst person who ever lived.

S2E8 - The Reluctant Hero (aka what?)

Dawson wins some (a grant to make another movie) and loses some (Joey to Jack). Joey has an electric date with Jack. Andie and Pacey's study session is interrupted by an impromptu grocery store run. And Dawson joins Jen at a house party, ultimately to intervene in her festivities. Jen and Dawson have it out on the front lawn until a post-puke, drunk Jen needs to sleep it off at Mitch's industrial bachelor pad. Dawson begins to come to terms with his parents' separation and his changing relationship with his father because of it. Oh, and somehow this is about heroes??

S2E7 - The All-Nighter (feat. unnecessary bestiality questions)

Everyone is broken up and they have a HUGE English test! The whole gang ends up at some rich kid's house for wine and studying. Andie finds out about Pacey's past. Jen is disappointed by a boy... again. Dawson feuds with someone's nerdy little sister. And Joey admits she's been in love TWICE?!
