Joining the U.S. Air Force after high school Dave climbed the ranks to retire as a Chief Master Sergeant. The two go on to discuss Dave's pathway after leaving the military. From his time as a junkyard scrapper, law enforcement officer, flight instructor, airline pilot, and eventually becoming a police chief, Dave expresses the importance of looking ahead while being receptive to new opportunities.
