There are moments when physical hunger or thirst becomes impossible to ignore. Jesus uses that same picture to describe the life of faith. When we hunger and thirst for righteousness, we begin to pursue God's ways with a deeper desire than anything else competing for our attention. As we remove the things that dull our spiritual appetite and draw near to His presence, He promises not to leave us empty. He fills us with His righteousness, His peace, and His life. The invitation is simple: stir up your hunger for God and discover how eager He is to satisfy it.
