Web 3 Artist Spotlight: Get to know Rachel Wood! (Episode 39)
Note sull'episodio
This episode of the Web 3 Artist Spotlight was broadcast live via X on Friday, May 17, 2024.
In this episode, we interviewed the incredible Rachel Suzanne Tien Wood—award-winning photographer, artist, speaker, and author.
Rachel shared her inspiring journey, from being born in Vietnam and growing up in Costa Rica and the USA, to quitting her office job in 2018 and embarking on a life of travel and photography with a one-way ticket to Peru. We delved into the evolution of her craft, how travel has shaped her artistic lens, and the importance of representation and beauty standards in her work. Rachel also offered insights into her approach to storytelling through art, building her creative narrative one chapter at a time.
We had a vibrant conversation on the “art of living,” dancing, her love of penguins, and, of course, Lord of the Rings. Whether you’re an artist or an art lover, this episode is packed with inspiration, reflection and heartfelt moments.
