Today, we'll be considering that our King Jesus came as a servant to suffer in our place, paying the penalty for our sin. Jesus came, knowing the crowd would turn on Him, knowing they’d turn from singing “Hosanna, the King” to screaming “Crucify Him, Crucify Him!” He did what he did, dying on the cross and conquering the grave, so that someday believers can sing “He is Exalted” as King forever in Heaven! We will also see in Hebrews 13:5 that our contentment is found in Christ. Christian, learn that moment by moment practicing the presence of Christ in your life is where you will find what it means to be content.
