Special guests are always a pleasure to sit with us on the show. Today’s guest had a little trouble sitting still and staying in her seat lol We have a very very, very, special guest, someone that has been mentioned in almost every single episode thus far, none other than Lil' Dr Jo aka TINA! This has been long awaited and highly requested! And we made it happen. DJ Critical loves kids and is considering borrowing or renting his friends' kids for a “day of play” to see how parenting can be and then give them back. lol We play “What are Tina’s favorite things?” and really get to indulge in the mind of a 4-year-old. Recently they have surpassed 10k subscribers & 1 million views on a reel. We’re super excited to have them join us. We share our thoughts on partner or purpose , partner or passion and can marriage be boring? We take a trip to the bank and realize that there are different types of relationship currencies in which we all make withdrawals & deposits! Finally we are given a few gems that we now call “morsels” such as proactive people prepare while reactive people repair. Vulnerability Shield
Getting ready for the summer! Summer dresses & summer flings! Take a trip to your favorite movie theater and check out this week’s humble brag recipient AV Rockwell’s new film “A Thousand and One“. This week we’re loaded with shields and antidotes. Shame, blame and perfectionism are all parts of the viscous cycle we call life that we navigate day to day. But we are resilient. We adapt and pivot. Be kinder to yourself , let the light in through the crack. We’re here for a good time not a long time. Enjoy! Excerpts from Brené Brown's Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.
Lyrical Innuendo
This was a fun filled sing a long of an episode. We found out what are deal breakers in relationships and in general such as poor customer service from a business. After we tuned up the microphones and got to singing some memorable but questionable songs. Sing along with your favorite podcast duo.
