A 42-year-old mother was stabbed to death near a jogging trail in one of Virginia’s wealthiest neighborhoods. The suspect is a 19-year-old Salvadoran illegal alien who was caught and released at the border under the Biden administration—and remained free in Virginia under Governor Abigail Spanberger’s policies.

On Monday morning in Great Falls, Fairfax County, officers responded to Difficult Run Park after a jogger found Carmen Lizet Puch, 42, of Reston, unconscious in the parking lot near her 2011 Honda Civic with trauma to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Fairfax County Police announced Wednesday the arrest of 19-year-old Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos in connection with the homicide.
