How Do I Start Living by The Principles of Heaven?

Building on Pastor Ben’s message, Pastor Kara emphasized that to access all of heaven’s resources, we need renewed minds and a heart aligned with God’s system of wealth rather than the world’s. She highlighted that the Bible has over 2,300 verses on money, underscoring its importance, but our relationship with it is crucial. Instead of worrying about daily needs, Jesus calls us to seek His Kingdom first, trusting that our loving Father will provide. Pastor Kara reminded us that worry can block our blessings and that true prosperity encompasses fulfilling our God-given purpose and blessing others. She encouraged renewing our minds to break free from limiting beliefs and shared the story of Peter, whose partnership with Jesus transformed his fishing business into abundant success. 3/23/25 | Vida Church

What Did Jesus Mean When He Talked About Wineskins?

In John 1:17, it’s highlighted that the law was given through Moses, while grace and truth came through Jesus Christ, revealing our need for a Savior. In Matthew 9, Jesus challenges the religious mindset, urging His disciples to embrace a transformative way of thinking, illustrated by the analogy of new wine needing new wineskins. He redefined religious expectations, reaching out to the unclean and the unworthy, emphasizing that He came for those aware of their need for redemption. Pastor Ben notes that to fully live in the New Covenant, we must shed old mindsets and embrace our identity in Christ, allowing us to receive the fullness of God’s promises and demonstrate His miraculous power in our lives. 3/16/25 | Vida Church

How Do I Know God Will Provide?

God’s desire is to be our Provider, and to receive His blessings, we must understand three key truths: we are children in God’s family, we are His favorite, and our assignment is to reflect His abundance without fear of lack. Just as the teenage girl in Princess Diaries discovered her royal heritage, our identity in God transforms how we see ourselves and our access to His resources. The Israelites in the wilderness serve as a reminder of the importance of trusting God’s provision rather than succumbing to fear, as they often complained instead of asking. As God's children, generosity is our nature, and knowing our position in His kingdom helps us fulfill our assignments. Matthew 6:31-33 encourages us not to worry about our needs but to seek God's Kingdom, assuring us that He knows and will provide for us. 03/02/25 | Vida Church

The Identity of A Child of God

This week, Pastor Ben delivered a powerful message about understanding our identity in Christ, emphasizing that we are not only accepted but fully loved and favored by God. He highlighted the importance of recognizing ourselves as His favorite children to embrace our true purpose and destiny, using Joseph’s story from Genesis 37 as an example of unwavering identity amidst adversity. Pastor Ben encouraged us to look to our perfect Father for our worth rather than our past or circumstances, reminding us that it’s never too late to make an impact, as our most fruitful years can come in maturity. Ultimately, he challenged everyone to believe they are God’s favorite, as this belief can transform our lives and perceptions. 02/09/25 | Vida Church

"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility"

Are you worried about missing God's purpose for your life? Pastor reassured us that if you're following Jesus, you're already living in His purpose as part of a journey of discovery and faithfulness. Each believer is equipped with unique, grace-given gifts meant to serve others, as highlighted in 1 Corinthians 12:7. While some gifts may feel like natural abilities, others emerge when needed for specific moments. The key is to step into the assignments God gives you, as gifts often reveal themselves through action. Remember, our ultimate purpose is to glorify God and bless others by using our gifts in the body of Christ, so let’s practice and embrace the unique ways God has designed us to serve. 01/26/25 | Vida Church

The Five-Fold Ministry: Which One Are You?

Jesus is the only One who can fully satisfy us, and when we make Him the center of our lives, we walk in our true calling and purpose. It's not enough to connect with Him only occasionally; we must acknowledge Him in all we do to grow and mature in our faith. As highlighted by Pastor Ben, each of us has unique gifts that contribute to the body of Christ, and it's important not to compare ourselves to others or limit God's possibilities. Our ultimate purpose is to reflect Christ and live impactful lives, whether in full-time ministry or in other spheres like business and education. By staying close to God and seeking to please Him, we will naturally step into our calling and see what He can accomplish through us. 01/19/25 | Vida Church

God's Biblical Blueprint for Life: Past, Present, and Future Explained

God's mandate from the beginning has been for us to steward the earth (Gen. 1:28), managing our resources, time, money, and bodies wisely while focusing on His Kingdom. Pastor Ben encouraged us to develop a purposeful vision for 2025, moving beyond past regrets and victories, as emphasized in Phil 3:13-14. He shared Jabez's prayer for expansion (1 Chronicles 4:10) and urged us to actively occupy and invest in God's kingdom until Jesus's return, reminding us that our past is redeemed through Christ (1 Peter 1:18-19). Fear and anxiety stem from future worries devoid of God’s power (Matthew 6:34), while Psalm 37:5 calls us to commit our actions to Him. As we reflect on what we're grateful for and what we dream of achieving with God in 2025, let's trust in His promise of new beginnings, as stated in Isaiah 43:18-19. 01/05/25 | Vida Church
