We all want God to be closer to us, and for Him to manifest in a real way in our lives. Yet, to experience that, we have to be the ones moving closer to Him. Pastor Pete talks about the importance of prayer and fasting, and what that looks like in our daily lives.
What does true devotion look like in our walk with Jesus? Passion may ignite the spark, but devotion carries us through the fire. In this message, we explore how devotion isn’t about perfection or emotion—it’s about daily surrender. Through Peter’s story and Jesus’ call to take up our cross, we’re reminded that our past doesn’t define our devotion, and choosing to follow Jesus is always worth the cost. Passion may feel good—but devotion chooses good. Let’s pursue a deeper walk with Christ, not just in moments of emotion, but in everyday obedience.
John 3:16 reveals God's greatest gift to us: Jesus. Jesus reveals God's great love, exemplifies God's great sacrifice, and He conveys God's great offer of eternal life to us.
Do you have a painful past? or a problematic present? Jesus came to be the missing PEACE in our lives. Peace is not the absence of problems; it is having peace in the midst of them.
Without God's promises, we are hopeless. The story of Mary provides a beautiful example of holding onto hope. Mary learned that time is not wasted waiting on God, and hope in His promises is never in vain.
How do we become a person of prayer? Pastor Keith shares that we must pray with dependence on God, desperation for God to answer, and determination that we won't give up until He does. Prayer not only changes our circumstances- it changes us!
God has given us an instruction manual to use when we pray. In this instruction manual, we learn: that prayer is relational, and God is relational; that we should pray for big, bold things; that we should pray about things in our day-to-day lives; our prayers are for the future and they happen here and now.
Prayer is the key to entering into a relationship with God. When we look at Jesus' example, we see how and when we should pray.
We must understand the Sanctity of Life from a Biblical perspective. All life is sacred from the womb to the tomb. As God's creation, made in His image, every human life is valuable and has dignity - no matter age, stage, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, sexual preference, political affiliation, or socioeconomic status.
