Folks — winter's still got a firm grip on us tonight. And it's not letting go anytime soon. If you're stepping outside right now, you're feeling it. Temperatures across the state have dropped into the single digits and low teens. And the wind is making it feel even worse.
Down in Burlington, you're sitting around 8 degrees with wind chills pushing below zero. That's the kind of cold that bites the second you open the door. Over in Montpelier, it's hovering near 5 degrees. And up in the Northeast Kingdom? **Brutal.** St. Johnsbury's dipping close to minus 5. Dress warmly if you're heading out for anything tonight.
