Chinua Rhodes is the President of the Sacramento City Unified School Board and Mayor Darrell Steinberg's Director of Community Engagement. Joe Flores is Parks and Recreation Commissioner for District 4 of Sacramento.
Marlon Yarber was appointed Sacramento County Chief Probation Officer in October 2021. He began his career with Sacramento County Probation as Assistant Chief Probation Officer in December 2013. He provided oversight of Adult Operations between 2013 and 2018 and then transitioned to Juvenile Operations. Before joining Sacramento County, Yarber served as Deputy Probation Officer for the Stanislaus County Probation Department working with gangs and high-risk adult offenders.
Sean Ragan began his tenure as the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Sacramento Field Office on July 23, 2017. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Ragan served in the Los Angeles Field Office as the Special Agent in Charge of the Criminal Division.
Dr. Reede is an Air Force Veteran, Scientist, Mentor, Professor of environmental science at Sacramento State University, Consultant to the California Dept of Education and Co-Founder of the Northern California African-American Young Male Conference
James Just is the host of Late Night Love, producer of the Knuckleheads Of Liberty Podcast and the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Sacramento County
Larry Lee is the publisher and president of the Sacramento Observer. He is a second-generation newspaper publisher who is passionate about serving underserved communities through information services and is a board member of the Local Media Association.
Director Dave Tamayo was elected to the SMUD Board in 2014. He represents Ward 6, which includes Meadowview, Oak Park, Parkway, Airport and Valley Hi. He is also an environmental scientist and vice president of the California Structural Pest Control Board.
