Those aboard a small boat in Indian Arm managed to escape after the vessel erupted in flames Sunday afternoon. It happened near the entrance to the inlet, prompting a quick response from the Kitsilano Coast Guard Base. The boat burned to the water line and smoldered for several hours. There’s no word on the cause.
