This podcast reviews and explains the second coming prophesies of the prophet Joel from the Old Testament. Joel was the second of twelve minor prophets in the Old Testament, and probably the first to prophesy of Christ's second coming in detail. The words of Joel are echoed by prophets who came after him, including John the Revelator in the Book of Revelation. On the night of September 21, 1823, Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith and told him the prophecies of Joel were about to be fulfilled, including Joel's prophecy that in the last days the Lord's spirit would be poured out upon all flesh in a Pentecostal manner.
