[§122] Rev 9:17: The Horses and Horsemen of Armageddon

This podcast explains the meaning of the horses and horsemen that John describes in Revelation 9:16. The horsemen are evil spirits loosed on earth at the start of Armageddon during the Second Woe. They will have significant power, control, and influence over the horses that represent the mortal armies engaged in this final battle leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

[§142] The Saints Are Given Dominion at Adam-ondi-Ahman

This podcast explains how the kingdom of God shall be given the saints of the most High during the future gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman as described in Daniel 7:18, 22 and 27. At this gathering, the saints from all seven gospel dispensations will stand before Adam (the Ancient of Days) and Christ will be coronated King of kings and Lord of lords. The saints of the most High shall be the kings over whom Christ is King and lords over whom Christ is Lord. Those crowned as kings and queens, and priests and priestesses, are those that enter the Patriarchal Order of the Priesthood through the temple sealing ordinance of celestial marriage and are worthy of their temple covenants. They will begin to inherit and possess the earth as of the gathering at Adam-ondi-Ahman when the redemption of Zion shall also commence. The saints of the most High shall also sit upon thrones and rule with Christ during the millennium and throughout eternity in the kingdom of God that shall be both an ecclesiastical kingdom and a political kingdom of God known as the Church of the Firstborn.

[§141] Christ Takes Earthly Dominion at Adam-ondi-Ahman

This podcast explains the future coronation of Jesus Christ as King of kings during the gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman as described in Daniel 7:13-14. At this gathering, the seven heads of the gospel dispensations will stand before Adam (the Ancient of Days) to account for their earthly stewardship and they will return to Adam their priesthood keys. These keys will in turn be returned to Christ who will commence his earthly reign. As Christ begins to take dominion on earth, the kingdom of Satan will begin to fall. This will mark the spiritual fall of Modern Babylon to be followed by the physical fall of Babylon at the Second Coming. At this future gathering, the ecclesiastical kingdom of God (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) will also begin to merge with the political kingdom of God to become the Church of the Firstborn which will be the government of God throughout the millennium.

[§140] The Ancient of Days Will Judge His Righteous Posterity

This podcast explains who attends the gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman, including celestial worthy people who are mortals, resurrected people, translated people, and the spirits of just men made perfect, all of who come from the seven gospel dispensations and held priesthood keys. This podcast also explains what will occur at Adam-ondi-Ahman as the Ancient of Days (Adam) appears in resurrected glory to judge his righteous posterity symbolized by the "ten thousand ten thousands" (100 million) that will come before his fiery throne, and the thousand thousand (1 million) that will minister to him.

[§139] The Date for the Gathering at Adam-ondi-Ahman

This podcast explains the meaning of the phrase "time and times and the dividing of time" found in Daniel 7:25 to describe the timing of the great gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman. This prophetic phrase means 3 ½ years, and it means that the gathering of saints will occur 3 ½ years before the Second Coming, which corresponds to the midpoint of Armageddon and the Second Woe. This is the point tin time when the little horn of Satan's latter-day power and dominion will peak and begin to recede from the earth as Christ begins to assert his power on earth.

[§138] The Little Horn: Satan’s Dominion since 1830 AD

This podcast explains the symbolism of the one little horn that emerges from the midst of the ten horns on the head of the fourth dreadful beast in Daniel 7:8. The ten horns represent Satan's power in the modern nations of the world and the one little horn represents the re-emergence of Satan's power in the modern nations after the end of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806. The emergence of this little horn coincides in time with the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1830. The little horn of Satan's latter-day power and dominion grows in power as the gospel grows and spreads in th world as the small stone that was cut from the mountain without hands from the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2. The little horn wars against the saints as recorded in Daniel 7:21, and he is personified as a man with eyes like a man and a mouth that speaks blasphemies against God. The personification of the little horn corresponds to the Second Beast described by John the Revelator in Revelation 13, which he also describes as the False Prophet in Revelation 16. The little horn, the Second Beast, and the False Prophet represent the Antichrist of the last days. The disembodied spirit of Judas Iscariot--the ultimate apostate--stands as the spiritual head of the antichristian movement in the last days.

[§143] Ecclesiastical and Political Kingdoms Merge

This podcast explains the image of the leopard with hour wings and four heads that is given dominion by God in Daniel 7:6. This symbolism represents Satan's power in the ancient kingdom of the Greek Empire, which began with the conquests of Alexander the Great. Alexander's small army moved with incredible speed to conquer the Medo-Persian empire in approximately 330 BC represented by the four wings on the body of the leopard. After Alexander died in 323 AD his empire passed to his four generals represented by the four heads of the leopard. The power of Satan in the Greek Empire grew through the Hellenization process whereby conquered nations, including the Jews, adopted the customs, religious philosophies and lax moral standards of the Greeks. At the same time Satan's power grew in the Greek empire, the way was also paved for the establishment and growth of Christianity in a Greek-speaking world after the death of Jesus Christ.

[§134] The Bear: Dominion in the Medo-Persian Empire

This podcast explains the image of the bear in Daniel 7:5 to describe Satan's power in the ancient kingdom of Medo-Persia. Cyrus the Great was king of this combined kingdom and defeated he Babylonian kingdom in 538 BC. A brief history of the Median and Persian empires is included together with a correlation of that history to the characteristics of the bear that has three ribs in its teeth, and one side raised above the other.

[§133] The Lion: Dominion in the Babylonian Empire

This podcast explains the images of the lion with eagle's wings in Daniel 7:4 to describe Satan's power in the ancient kingdom of Babylon. A brief history of the rise and fall of ancient Babylon is given with correlating details about the fall of Modern or Spiritual Babylon at the time of the Second Coming.

[§132] Satan’s Earthly Dominion Until Adam-ondi-Ahman

This podcast explains the images used by Daniel to describe Satan's power in the kingdoms of the world, including the Babylonian empire (Lion), Persian empire (bear), Greek Empire (leopard), Roman empire (hideous beast), and modern nations (ten horns). Satan's power grows in these successive kingdoms until the future gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman, which takes place 3 1/2 years before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. At this gathering, Christ will be coronated King of kings and this will begin the restriction on Satan's power. He will not be bound, however, until the Second Coming when Christ makes a full end of all nations.
