Then we move on to the main topic which is what is a team and why are they so difficult to create. We explore why being a teammate is both gratifying and grating. We end the podcast with a deeper discussion of the aspects that help us identify a team vs. being a part of an organization where people complete tasks together. We didn't quite land the plane in this episode, so this will be part one, and we will follow up with a part two in our next podcast.

Ep.7: Fish Fry, Fashion, and Full Expression

In this episode, Mia and Allison begin with a titillating overview of the Wisconsin fish fry. We then, quickly, move into exploring our relationship with fashion, style, our bodies, and how we both hid our feminine attributes. As we walk through our journey of how we present ourselves to the world, we land on the distinction between noticing my style versus noticing my essence through my style. Mia describes that a delightful side effect of doing her inner transformational work was she's come to really love her body (and invites strangers to love it too!). We close with a conversation around protecting ourselves by not expressing our feminine sides. An irony arises that we when we hide parts of ourselves, we actually feel more vulnerable, not less. Only when we can express ourselves fully do we experience strength and confidence. We hope you enjoy this episode and we'd LOVE to hear your thoughts!
