On every new feeds, on every bright uncut right out from a movie screen.

Streamed on whole vessels, yet drowned in white noise—

A stolen innocence, a plundered poise.

Their youth was a canvas, pristine and white,

Till the Gilded Age painters crept in with their night,

Their progressive stage masking a tinted black,

A calculated, predatory attack.
