In this episode, the Two Dudes finish up discussing the Two Dudes mixtape that started it all. Make sure to check this one out to hear about all the original Killer Tunes. The accompanying Play List for this one is the first Two Dudes Mixtape with all the songs we can remember so far. We currently have 1 hr 39 minutes of a 2 hr mixtape accounted for.

TDaKT: S4 EP13 Origin Story Part I

In this episode, the Two Dudes go back where it all started: 1999 in a basement with 500 CDs, beer, and a handful of shrooms. In the end, two Mixtapes were made: Two Dudes and Two Dudes Part II about 6 months apart. There were only two copies of each. Listen in as they dig into the OG Two Dudes Mixtape. Although no copies exist, they were able to piece together all but 21 minutes of songs on a 2hr cassette and still working on it. The OG Mixtape will be dropped in two parts, followed by an episode on Two Dudes Part II. Kal and Neil have seen most of these bands live, with some even coming up again at Bourbon & Beyond this weekend. A lot of these songs are from some of their current Forever Five artists, some things never change. TDaKT: S4 EP12 Bourbon & Beyond Preview

In this episode, the Two Dudes welcome Jon Schack to the Green Room to preview their upcoming trip to Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, KY. This was his fifth appearance on the show. During the episode, they discuss the festival layout, difference between GA/Mint VIP/Angels Envy VIP, the food, transportation in and out, and most importantly the Music. In this episode, the Two Dudes welcome Jason Singer, the creative genius behind the band Michigander via Zoom. Jason has been grinding it out since starting in Kalamazoo, MI in 2014. Michigander has put out two albums over the last two years and are ready to head out on a 33 date National Tour starting next month. Kal and Neil saw Michigander for the first time at Saint Andrew’s Hall on 11.8.24 and were blown away. The set was packed full of Killer Tunes. In this episode, the Two Dudes welcomed Lucas Spencer to the Green Room. Kal met Lucas while standing in line at the Fillmore Detroit for the Our Lady Peace Show in April. Lucas was a Coast Guard diver for 20 years and lived all over the country before making his home in Michigan. Listen in to find out what one of the most requested songs on the boat in his earlier days, it may surprise you. Great time listening to Lucas talk about the shows he’s been to all over the country. He’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon as he still hits as many as he can.

In this episode, the Two Dudes welcome Dan Savich to the Green Room. Kal and Neil have know Savvy for decades and all played soccer at UDM together. Savvy scored the biggest goal in UDM history that helped lead us to the NCAA Tournament. It was during college that they all saw Rusted Root for the first time and their biggest hit will always be known as “Savvy on the Way” Listen in to this one as they talk about the soccer road trips on the vans, our failed pump up music before games, and who SavvyMac has in his Forever Five.

In this episode, the Two Dudes welcome Brian Perrone to the Green Room. Kal and Brian met over Instagram but this is the first time meeting in person. Although they were two of the original 50 to see Tool at Lollapalooza '93 on the Second Stage at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI. Listen in as they remember "The Storm" from that day. Brian is an accomplished local musician who writes songs, plays keys, and also a pretty killer drummer. Listen in as they talk about how Brian got is start in music at a young age, his burnout high school years, and the EP he just released. Brian played a show at Detroit's Eastern Market Brewing Co. the night before and gets into some of his upcoming shows as well. Make sure to check him out on his socials.

In this episode, the Two Dudes welcome Robyn and Jason Gilleran of Hard G Comedy to the Green Room. Kal has been following this Comic Duo for a couple of years now and was finally able to get them in the studio. They perform shows all over the US and Robyn's set has been referred to as "filthy" on more than one occasion, she has buttons to prove it. In this episode, the Two Dudes welcomed Brian Maloney via Zoom. If you don't know Brian, he is the driving force behind the Sonic Coast and Sonic Detroit. If you want to know anything about Michigan Music, Brian is your guy. Brian started out in radio after graduating from Specs Howard and spent time throughout the US at various radio stations. Kal and Brian connected a few years ago and the Two Dudes have been wanting him on our show for a while now. They talked about the incredible concert season around Detroit this summer, some cool old venues that are no longer around or hanging on by a thread, and when Brian can get back into town so they can all hit a show together. This episode was Pure Michigan.

TDaKT: S4 EP5 Because Hearn F#cked Up

In this episode, the Two Dudes go without a guest for the first time in Season 4. After collaborating with Craig Hearn of We Are Soccer at the Dog and Pony Show Brewing in Royal Oak, Craig realized the audio didn't work. The Two Dudes love these episodes and talked about the Dog and Pony Show five year anniversary celebration going on right now, the upcoming World Cup, the Primus show, and Bourbon & Beyond coming up in September.
