Finding gladness in times of sadness

In the included picture you can see Bob’s ministry friend, Greg Bennet was killed in a pedestrian accident this past week. He also shares of another ministry friend who unexpectedly lost their 19-Year-old son this past Tuesday. Where is our hope in our most difficult time?

On Tuesday, after completing the radio program with Matt Skow and Nick Stumphauzer, Bob received two messages with some very tragic news. First, a fellow clergyman in Saint Augustine, FL was struck by an automobile while he was on his morning walk. He was life-flighted to a major trauma center, but as of the release of this program, is not expected to live. Then later in the day, another fellow clergyman whose 19-year-old son had been recovering from a brain swelling incident last year unexpectedly died. It will be a difficult time for both families. Practical Preparations Prefaced with Prayer

While most of the world has forgotten, today is known as Maundy Thursday to many Christians. It is the day we remember that Jesus gathered with his disciples, shared the first communion, prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, and was betrayed and handed over to the Roman Soldiers to ultimately be put to death.
