On 15 March 2021 (and in Perth the day before) women and some men gathered in cities and towns around Australia, including the nation's capital, in a MARCH FOR JUSTICE in response to the controversies surrounding allegations of rape in the heart of the federal Parliament House by former Liberal Party staffer, Brittany Higgins, historical allegations against the federal attorney general, Christian Porter, and the wider, deeper experiences of sexual violence and harassment against Australian women and broader gender inequality. Mainly dressed in black, thousands poured into the Treasury Gardens on an autumn day in Melbourne. This is a small sampling of the voices and feelings of those who attended. The question simply was: "What brought you here?"
