Goldman Sachs released their projection for home sales nationally! They are saying that the rest of this year will look a lot like last year, meaning the second half of 2024 mathematically looks a lot like the second half of 2023, and the first half looked fairly similar as well - projecting 4.1 million residential home sales in the United States which is precisely where we were for the year of 2023 what does that mean?! We get into it today - what it looks like to have a 30% drop in TOTAL HOME SALES from the peak of 2021 and a flatline across 2023 and 2024. And then Goldman projects a very slight uptick from 4.1 million to 4.2 million in 2025 - are they right?! NOBODY KNOWS!
