Joseph Fielding Smith, born on July 19, 1876, faithfully served as the tenth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1970 until his death in 1972. Throughout his life, he developed a deep love for the scriptures, beginning as a young boy, and dedicated more than six decades to Church leadership and service. Despite witnessing tremendous changes in the world, he remained steadfast in his testimony and consistently encouraged members to remain true and faithful to the Lord. His life demonstrates the lasting influence of faithful discipleship, diligent scripture study, and lifelong service.
