Realizing that the Lord Himself had incarnated as Manikandan, Ayyappa's foster father, King Rajasekhara Pandyan, took refuge at the lotus feet of the Lord and prayed to Him to remove the disease of his birth. Manikandan himself, as a master of knowledge, taught the principles of wisdom to the king who was seeking salvation. The king attained maturity in wisdom through this teaching. That teaching is the book Sri Bhoothanatha Geeta. This book Sri Bhoothanatha Geeta was brought out by Mr. V. Aravind Subramaniam.
