Note sull'episodio
Before grunge took over the world, before Pearl Jam, before Temple of the Dog… there was Mother Love Bone, the glitter-soaked, glam-grunge powerhouse fronted by the magnetic and heartbreaking Andrew Wood. In this episode, Jimmy takes you deep into the rise, the promise, the chaos, the tragedy, and the legacy of one of Seattle’s most important and influential bands.
We explore the early Green River days, the formation of Mother Love Bone, Andrew Wood’s unforgettable personality, the band’s meteoric local rise, the recording of Apple, and the devastating events that changed Seattle’s music history forever. With humor, back stories, dirt, and emotional truth, this is the full story of a band whose flame burned bright — and far too briefly.
