The Pine Room Podcast - Ep. 7

Cereal, Pizza, Fun. This episode of The Pine Room Podcast - the crew make some fun announcements. Soup and Jub describe their pitch at the Chamber of Commerce meeting and hit on some future plans for the show. A new segment is introduced as 'The Pine Room Cereal Hour' (it's not really an hour) where they try three brand new cereals and rank them from best to worst. The gang bring up their favorite 'Misheard' lyrics and highlight Chris' uncanny ability to remember band and artist names. Matt later breaks down the Kentucky Derby and who he thinks will take the prize as well as picks from the rest of the group. This Week in History hits on topics such as Genghis Khan, The Hindenburg, and Henry VIII and the show is rounded out with a quick 'Hot Pit' - 'Cold Mug'.

The Pine Room Podcast - Ep. 6

Welcome back to The Pine Room! In this episode, the crew finally unveils the long-awaited Pine Room studio set. A few big announcements are made, and the set is christened with an honorary shot of whiskey and the group gets right into some good stuff! Chris details the Doctor's Appointment for his sleep study that night and the group pick apart what he might experience during the examination. A few things are hit on from last week including Coach's experience in a hotel in Frostburg, MA. The crew finally gets to enjoy a meal graciously delivered via Door Dash by Dugger's Famous Chicken and Wings. Jarrett and Jub explain the pros and cons of a good chicken tender, Soup highlights the importance of dental care, a debate about the NBA is raised and the guys round out the episode with some 'Hot Pit' - 'Cold Mug' in which monkeys, stuffed animals, Facebook, and communication is all talked on.

Jub makes a huge announcement about what's to come with The Pine Room Podcast and the group discusses this past weekend's Easter Festivities. Not to mention the horrible weather. Champ's taxes are brought into question that leads Jeff into describing a healthy educational seminar from the very famous Cherie Deville and her new teaching techniques. The crew highlights a few of their favorite food places around the Ohio Valley and debate foods with the highest ceiling but the lowest floor. Jub tells a story about how he tricked a family into thinking he was Australian and Chris reads a few reviews from the now infamous Wheeling Inn. Finally, we wrap it up with a few famous birthdays, events, and random facts of history in the new segment 'This Week in History.'
