Ep. 55 - Captain America Brave New World and the Marvel Hate Train

Today's episode: welcome to my Captain America 4 review. The good, the bad, the exaggerated negative critical reviews: I will be covering all of it as well as talking more in general about the current state of the MCU and Disney in the larger Hollywood crisis and the conservative blowback that started from the previous administration. Here is hoping that this review can also reignite some passion in the other marvel fans and give a positive outlook on the upcoming projects. Ep. 53 - 'Emilia Pérez' - from critical darling to most hated movie of the year

This episode - yes, I am talking about Emilia Pérez AGAIN. This movie's reputation seems to keep going down every week so I think it's time to give it a short review and to recount all the many different controversial matters surrounding it. From Karla Sofía Gascón's very disparaging and racist old tweets being dug up, to the lack of proper and genuine representation of both Mexican culture and LGBTQ+ identities, I have it all ready for you in this episode. Ep. 52 - 'Emilia Pérez' and 'The Brutalist' AI Controversy and Oscar 2025 Nominations

Today's episode - Awards season is here and the drama in the movie industry is completely changing all predictions on possible winners. The undisclosed use of AI tools to enhance certain performances in front runners such as 'Emilia Perez' and 'The Brutalist' has now put their Oscar chances in jeopardy. Let's talk about why the use of these tools can be very problematic while I try to predict which movies may now take the upper hand in this Awards season (the Oscars specifically).
