In this episode, we are joined by Lalkaar 2022 participants to share their takeaways and experience from Lalkaar 2022 where the theme was Kaur Voices. Gurinder was also a facilitator at Lalkaar and gives his insight as well and shares his own experiences as well. Kaur Voices is a crucial topic in the community and Jakara Movement made space one weekend to have folks come together from all over and have deep discussions. BEHIND THE SCENE AND MAKING OF DHUNDH Season 2 Episode 1
Link to Dhundh: https://youtu.be/kYH8T94d_wM Starting off season 2 with an amazing conversation that included the behind-the-scenes work of making Dhundh, a short film that covers a relationship that with time was only getting worse. We explored the deeper meaning behind some of the scenes in the short film and behind the words that were being spoken behind the scenes. We thank the cast and crew for their time but also for their efforts in making this truly amazing short film. Projects like this are needed to show the newer generations that this type of work isn't just for hobbies that you can have fun and still pursue a career. Thank you for all the support on season 1, we look forward to season 2 and bringing more and better episodes!!

HOW THE UC SYSTEM BEGAN TO OFFER PUNJABI COURSES Season 1 Episode 11
In this episode, we are joined by Harfateh Singh who is a UC Davis alumni and someone who has been a part of the process to get Punjabi courses at UC Davis. These courses are crucial to create awareness of Punjabi at the campus and outside of the campus. The process was tough and long but it has led to the courses being offered at UC Davis and there are so many individuals like Harfateh that deserve the credit for all the work they did to make this happen.
