Mauricio Bustamante has over 60 years of professional experience as an actor, starring in numerous theatrical productions throughout the United States. He has also been a part of the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute since 1975, has been part of the acting faculty since 1994 in New York City. Mauricio is now appearing in films by filmmakers like Ira Sachs, Francesco Saviano, Guillermo Ivan, Jaime Dezcallar, Victor Cruz, Keren Atzmon, and Angelique Letizia, whose films have appeared in some of the most prestigious international film festivals around the world from 2007 to the present. As a founding member of IS/MB Productions, Mauricio has starred in two productions off-Broadway, and three short films, "Closing Notice", "Hearts N' Flower" and "Whatever Happened" with Irma Sandrey.
