Today I’m joined on the couch by my good friend and brother in Christ, Daniel Mejia — father, businessman, fitness enthusiast, member of our men’s group, and author of “The Tree.”

In Part 1 of our conversation, we get to know the man behind the book. Daniel shares his journey from being raised Catholic to developing a deeper personal relationship with Christ, what led him to get baptized, and why joining a Christian men’s group became such an important part of his walk.

We also dive into fatherhood and the impact Daniel’s seven-year-old son has had on his life. In fact, his son played a major role in inspiring “The Tree.” Daniel wanted to leave him something more valuable than possessions — a foundation of Scripture and faith that could help guide him long after Daniel is gone.
