Note sull'episodio
What if the baggage you’ve been carrying was packed by somebody else?
In Episode 125 of The Hall Hotline, Jon tackles one of the hardest commands Jesus gives us: forgiveness.
Someone hurt you. Maybe they betrayed you, abandoned you, lied to you, broke your trust, or left a wound you’re still carrying years later.
But here’s the question: Why are you still carrying what they did?
Using Ephesians 4:31–32 and Jesus’ teaching on forgiveness in Matthew 18, we look at what biblical forgiveness really means — and what it doesn’t.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay.
It doesn’t mean you have to trust that person again.
It doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be boundaries.
And it doesn’t always mean reconciliation.
Forgiveness means refusing to let yesterday’s wounds keep controlling tomorrow.
