Jackson Reed | Building a Music Career & Podcast

In this episode of The GOODNITE Show, Jordan sits down with Jackson Reed, a lifelong musician and frontman of Jackson Reed and the Silver Birds. Jackson shares his journey through music — from playing and performing over the years to building his sound and growing as an artist. He also talks about launching his own podcast, “Guess That Record,” where he’s had the chance to sit down with well-known names in the music world to talk about the records that shaped them.

The conversation dives into both the creative and business sides of music, including what it takes to stay consistent as an artist, how to grow an audience, and what Jackson has learned along the way.

They also discuss his latest EP recorded live at the iconic King Eddy music venue, capturing the raw energy of a live performance and bringing it straight to listeners. To close out the episode, Jackson delivers a live electric guitar session, showcasing his sound and musicianship in an intimate, stripped-down performance. A great mix of storytelling, insight, and live music.
