Stagione 2
Independence and the New Social Disorder
Welcome back, folks, to The Christian Patriot Hour, last airing in April of 2024. In this stirring episode, we will be focusing on America’s 250th anniversary, celebrating Independence, Liberty, and our once "firm reliance" upon Divine Providence, namely Almighty God. America was founded as a sovereign, independent Republic indeed. Democracy has absolutely no rightful place in the truest definition of our government structure of Constitution and human rights so defined in Declaration, so say the Founding Fathers themselves. Yet, the day we live in is threatening the very foundations of Liberty established, pandering in the new ideas of democratic social sustenance and dependance upon government and technology to do virtually everything for us. Come with me and be awakened before Liberty is lost forever!
Stagione 1
Glorious Easter
In this podcast of The Christian Patriot Hour, we will be celebrating the observance of the Easter season and focusing on the powerful message of the cross of Jesus Christ, and the bodily Resurrection of our Lord from the grave. I will be drawing parallels to the seasons of the year that weave their transitioning influence into the seasons of our lives. The foundations of truth will be unabashedly reinforced as we navigate the stormy waters of our day and the turbulent seas of our times, dispelling the notions of confusion in this great day of deception in which we live. We will discuss the underlying problems of the church of Jesus Christ in present-day America, and thusly, I will try my best to herald the Good News of salvation, contending for the faith even as the Apostle Paul once declared: “For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” (I Corinthians 2:2) So bear with me, and do pray alongside as we delve into the greater depths of life, its meaning, and the road of destiny we all journey upon.
A Valentine Message of Mercy
In this podcast, we shall delve into matters of the heart, and I want you to remember that our hearts truly are at the heart of the matter, and the issues at-hand. When we see a picture of a beautiful red heart, such as we see on Valentine’s Day in the month of February, why of course we naturally think of love and all the good things we aspire to in life, but The Bible warns us, be careful, for “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9) That applies to me, as well to you, and everyone we know. We will be talking about the presidential election in America forthcoming and the sad prospects that 2024 will offer us anything hopeful in it, at least from our human perspectives. Time is moving us along to a conclusion of all things I believe. People are missing the point and they’re misplacing their hope; forgetting God and trusting in man. That is always our fatal error, for God says: “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” (Psalms 118:8) I have much to say, so let’s get on with saying it, and if you dare, have a listen won’t you?
Resolve in Resolution
What are your utmost aspirations in 2024? I’m not just talking to Americans now; rather, I’m reaching out to all my wonderful friends across the planet who have chosen to share their precious time with me. My resolve is to not let the Lord down this year, nor my listeners, in any way possible. So, what are your resolutions, may I ask? I hope they include your pursuit of the truth in coming to deal with life, and liberty, and the joy of the Lord. And if you know Jesus, then resolve to walk closer with Him as I, and if you do not know Him personally yet, then by all means, stop short of nothing until you find the Lord, for know, He has been seeking you in love all the while you have not. Yes, come to the crossroads of decision and imagine yourself on that little windswept hill outside the city walls of Jerusalem, over 2,000 years ago, a day when Jesus took up His cross to die for you and me, for your name truly was already known by Him on that cross that day. Let’s talk about this new year then, shall we?
The Wonder of Advent
Can you remember back to a time in your youth perhaps when you waited for something good to happen, something that you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt was going to really happen? When the anticipation of expectancy overwhelmed your senses and caused you to think of nothing else as you looked forward to something or someone coming into your life? Maybe it was something you had long hoped for; maybe it was a person you loved so dear and hadn’t seen for many years. Well, that is what Advent is all about. Now, Julia Ward Howe lived during the dark days of the Civil War. She was an amazing Christian woman by all accounts, and yet except for the stirring hymn she wrote, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” she is little remembered today. Julia knew what Advent was all about however, and she knew her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ quite well, I think, for her song is indeed her ongoing witness and testimony of her faith in God. She wrote, “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.” Let’s talk about Christmastime in the context of this Advent season, shall we?
Giving Thanks in Affliction
Is it good to give thanks in all things? I mean, should we thank God even when things go terribly wrong or when horrible things happen in the world, or to us? Human nature would probably say no, how can one give thanks when everything is falling apart around us, or when life seems to be ebbing at its last, or happiness has just walked out the back door of our life. Yes, indeed, The Bible says we should always give thanks, even in times of great affliction, not for the adversity, but in the adversity rather. That is the idea. So, let’s talk about affliction and hear the Word of the Lord on the matter.
The Winds of October Wanderings
Today we will be walking together in Autumn splendor. Labor Day is behind us, summer is over, the leaves are beginning to turn, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are not so far off. We look for those festive times together with family, when turkey and pumpkin pie go hand-in-hand, it is a time for joyous celebration which most people celebrate, no matter their spiritual conviction or persuasion. Festive and happy times of the year indeed they are, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, let’s look at the amazing days of Feasts the fall has to offer, days of solemn observance that began so long ago, no one can remember. Stay with me, it can only prove interesting.
On the Wings of a Sparrow
You’ve heard the old expression probably, “On the wings of an eagle.” Well, this podcast today deals more with sparrows, and prophets of old, of prophecies fulfilled and prophecies to come, and a few other tidbits along the way. But mostly, it will reveal the Lord of Glory, and the Word of God which renews our strength and causes our hearts not to faint. We will be talking about America, of course, and Israel too, so stay with me, stay focused, and give God all the glory.
Climate Change, the New World Order, and the End of Time
What is all this to-do over climate change going on lately, or should I say global warming? The notion seems to change with the weather, you know. And what is the proper term anyway which should apply to this phenomenon, do you have any idea whatsoever? And really, what does carbon footprint and greenhouse effect have to do with our daily lives and the end of time concerning this present-day age in which we live? Do you understand the serious connection with what is happening in the world and how the prophetic forecasts of The Bible declared from centuries ago line themselves up perfectly with events happening before our eyes, and seeing their uncanny fulfillments come to pass is lending themselves so perfectly to this grave discussion we must have? So, climate change then is the main topic we will be discussing here. Let’s get on with it then, shall we?
Nothing to Fear
Is faith compatible with fear? Or, what does freedom have to do with faith anyway? I will be delving into these prospects and more in this second podcast segment and will be making comparisons, citing the faith of our Founding Fathers who overcame every obstacle of fear in helping to bring about a great and mighty nation under God, a nation declaring itself sovereign and independent, having liberty for all. What obstacles in our day prevent us from carrying on the noble virtues of our founding? Let’s look at the issues of our day.
