In March 2022, Tokunbo co-founded Black Women for Black Lives, a volunteer-led initiative that raised £326,000 to support Black students fleeing the war in Ukraine. She also talks about her vibrant Bottomless Plantain Brunch and Day Party, a celebration of culture and community through food.
