FATHER, it’s painful, it’s difficult, and I’m tired FATHER! I never knew that it would be this tough, I never knew I would go through all of this, I never knew I would not feel YOUR presence here with me, I never knew I would feel forsaken. But despite all that I am feeling I’ll Stay (The Course)! This is the conversation that I imagined might have happened as I read of JESUS’ crucifixion. As I try to picture HIM hanging on the cross, giving HIS life up for you and me. All of this after a severe beating, with blood pouring from HIS wounds and pain flowing through HIS Body, He endured it all and said I’ll Stay, not words from HIS mouth but by HIS actions.
