Raphael obtained his undergraduate degree from Hampton University, he holds a Master's in Physical Therapy from Howard University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University. His extensive training is complemented by multiple certifications, including dry needling and lymphedema treatment.

As the owner of Portera Rehabilitation, Raphael has successfully expanded his therapy company to three locations across the DC metro area.
