A fatal pedestrian-versus-vehicle collision shut down Stockton Boulevard between Lawrence Drive and Fruitridge Road early Wednesday morning as investigators continued processing the scene.

In a separate overnight incident, CHP responded to a solo-vehicle rollover near the southbound Highway 99 offramp to Fruitridge Road just before 1 a.m. Authorities say the vehicle rolled off the roadway before the incident was cleared overnight.

Sacramento Police also arrested a suspect earlier this week following a stolen-vehicle pursuit near Del Paso Boulevard and Northgate Boulevard. Officers recovered an illegally possessed firearm after the suspect fled on foot and was later detained.
