This new episode of The Rhymer's Corner features full performance and interview from djembe drummer expert and musician who at an early age was diagnosed autistic. Her name is Victoria Boateng.

Here, Victoria shares her story of resilience, living with a disability that ultimately earned her a degree from college, starting an organization called Victoria Djembe, and teaching at Chicago elementary schools such as Amelia Earhart STEAM School, conveniently located on the south side of Chicago. Her students adore her, and in this episode, you will hear from her students with their principal, Dr. Brenda DeMar-Williams, their djembe drum performance.

This episode also includes Victoria's music collaborator, Tommy Carroll, who will speak with A.Abyla about his disability as a percussionist.
