Dr. Roy Rhodes - The Interview

Preaching in any context is a mixture of science and art - - or perhaps content and context. The content/science does not change - but how do we handle differences in context and culture when presenting the gospel. BIO From 2010 until the time of his election, Rev. Rhodes served as Lead Pastor of Abundant Life Community Church in Alton, Illinois. During that time, he also served as a member of the Illinois District Executive Presbytery. From 2000 to 2010, Roy served as Lead Pastor of Cross Point Assembly of God in Paola, Kansas. Prior to his Lead Pastorates, he served the Arkansas District in the District Youth Director’s office. Rev. Rhodes holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, a Master of Arts from Southeastern University, a Master of Divinity from the Harrison Graduate School of Southwestern University, and is a recent a Doctoral graduate from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

Dr. Mark Hausfeld - The Interview

How Spiritual Formation is at the foundation of becoming a successful leader in ministry. BIO: Dr. Hausfeld serves with Assemblies of God World Missions as President of PAK7 USA, a media ministry to the Church in Pakistan and peoples outside the Church of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. PAK7 has offices in London, UK, Lahore, Pakistan and Springfield, MO. He and his wife, Lynda, have more than 30 years of ministry experience both in the United States and abroad, including pastoring in south-side Chicago for 10 years, and working with Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from 1995-2001. He also ministered as Assemblies of God World Missions area director for Central Eurasia (2000-2008), and then served as the international director of Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim Peoples (2009-2015). From July 2015 until May 2017, Dr. Hausfeld served as president of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS), Evangel University. He then served as Director of the Europe Muslim Diaspora Initiative for the Europe Region of Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) and Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim Peoples (GI) from June 2017 to July 2018. Dr. Hausfeld served as associate professor of Urban and Islamic Studies at AGTS from 2007 to 2015, now serving as full professor, on an adjunct basis. During the 2007-2008 academic year, he was the second J. Philip Hogan Chair of World Missions at AGTS. His three Hogan lectures and the resulting monograph focused on reaching diaspora Muslims in America through the local church. He has a passion for equipping Spirit-empowered servant leaders with the highest quality seminary scholarship and training. His focus has centered on evangelism, discipleship and church planting in urban marketplace settings in North America and restricted contexts in Central Asia and far-reaching global Muslim communities.
