This week we continue to look at the stewarding purpose with a focus on humility as an important aspect of stewarding purpose. We also emphasized the importance of being great servants if we desire to be great leaders.

Joshua served Moses with humility and never complained about his role. When Moses died, the Lord called Joshua to that leadership position. Had Joshua not prepared himself in a former season, He wouldn't have been able to function effectively when it was time for him to do so.

Similarly, David embodied humility in his call to be King. Although he was anointed to be King during his younger years, David continued tending to the sheep as a young shepherd boy.
