What does it mean to show up for your business?

It's a question I ask all the time, and what I really mean is this:

How are people getting to know, like, and trust you?

People want to connect with the person behind the business. They want to know who you are, what you stand for, and why you do what you do.

For years, I showed my work, but I didn't really show myself. I hid behind the business because it felt safer. Eventually, I realized that showing up isn't about being perfect—it's about being visible.

I started small by sharing pieces of my day through Instagram Stories. Over time, I became more comfortable sharing my experiences, lessons, and perspective. Because stories create connection, and connection builds trust.
