#4 - How To Do Family Worship Without Losing Your Mind
Family worship can feel hard and chaotic. In this episode, I give you a glimpse into what family worship looks like in our home—and share some simple, practical principles you can start using in yours. Here's a recap of our simple flow for family worship: Read together. Talk together. Sing together. Pray together. We do this consistently every night around the same time, and in the same place. A few things to consider: It’s helpful to briefly prepare your child’s heart prior to reading the Bible. Giving your child some degree of ownership over the time keeps them engaged and makes it feel more family-oriented. If things get a little wild (they will!), that’s okay. Consistency is the point, not perfection. Do not get frustrated with your kids during this time. Roll with the punches and get creative. You don’t need to be a pastor or have gone to seminary to do this—you just need the Spirit and the Bible! You can do this.
