Note sull'episodio
In this mysterious and magical episode, Amanda takes us deep into the folklore of Iceland, where reality blurs with myth. She uncovers the legend of the Huldefolk, Iceland’s elusive hidden people said to live in the rocks and hills—guardians of nature who fiercely protect their invisible realm. Amanda shares tales of locals who claim to have encountered these unseen beings, and how even modern construction projects have been altered to avoid disturbing them.
But that’s not all—things get even stranger as Amanda dives into the eerie legend of the Lagarfljót Worm, Iceland’s version of the Loch Ness Monster. Is it just a folktale, or has something truly ancient and serpentine been lurking beneath the glacial waters for centuries?
Join us as we explore the shadowy folklore of the land of fire and ice, where belief in the supernatural is woven into the fabric of everyday life.
