In this message from our WITHNESS series, we explore how being fully known by Jesus does not mean being erased by Jesus—and how one encounter at a well transforms a woman from someone who is seen and labeled into someone who goes out and says, “Come and see.” In John 4, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well and crosses boundaries of gender, ethnicity, religion, and reputation to simply be with her. Rather than reducing her to the labels others have placed on her, Jesus sees her, knows her, and offers her living water.
