Welcome to The Miseducation of God's People | Why Biblical Discernment Matters More Than Ever
Can sincere Christians be deceived? Jesus said yes.
In a time when false teachers, false prophets, prosperity gospel preaching, Progressive Christianity, Hyper-Grace theology, the New Apostolic Reformation, and viral Christian influencers dominate YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, and social media, one question has never been more important:
How do you know if what you're hearing is actually biblical?
If you've ever wondered whether a popular sermon, prophecy, Christian book, worship movement, or Bible teacher is truly teaching God's Word—or if you've experienced church hurt, spiritual confusion, or conflicting doctrines—this podcast was created for you.
Every week, author, Bible teacher, missionary, and ordained minister J.C. Johnson Sr. examines today's most influential Christian teachings through the lens of Scripture, exposing where popular opinion has replaced biblical truth and equipping believers with practical tools for biblical discernment.
You'll discover why millions of sincere Christians unknowingly embrace teachings that sound biblical—but collapse under careful examination of God's Word.
Future episodes will explore questions like:
- Is the Prosperity Gospel really in the Bible?
- Are modern-day prophets speaking for God?
- What is Progressive Christianity, and how does it compare to historic biblical faith?
- Is Hyper-Grace Theology biblical?
- Should Christians follow celebrity pastors?
- How can believers recognize spiritual deception before it's too late?
If you're searching for solid Bible teaching, Christian apologetics, sound doctrine, biblical theology, verse-by-verse Bible study, discernment ministry, or answers about controversial Christian movements, you've found your new podcast.
