Is Masculinity Dead (Pt.1) Live From Chicago. #masculinity

IS MASCULINITY DEAD?!?!?! (Pt.1) #selfimprovement #lifelessons #manhood #selfgrowth The Men’s Lounge LA is on the road in Chicago — The Chi — with comedian D. Patrick and Ray “The StormBreaker” Gage for a raw, unscripted conversation about manhood, responsibility, strength, vulnerability, culture, and what masculinity looks like today. This is not a rehearsed panel. Comedian D.Patrick and Ray did not receive the questions in advance. We challenge the usual definitions of masculinity, ask whether men are becoming weaker or simply being challenged to grow, and confront the role of fathers, culture, Hollywood, emotional discipline, accountability, and purpose. We also ask the harder question: Are men losing masculinity — or losing direction? Expect humor. Expect disagreement. Expect hard questions. Expect accountability. And at the end, every man has to answer: Is masculinity dead, dying, evolving, confused — or alive and well? Join the conversation in the comments and tell us where you stand. The Men’s Lounge LA — empowering good men to become better men, strengthening families, transforming lives, with content that matters. ### CONNECT WITH OUR GUESTS Comedian D. Ten Thing to Keep Private - Ep 2

10 Things Men Should Keep Private! 1. Your Next Move Not every plan needs an audience. Some people clap for you publicly while quietly hoping you fail. Move in silence. Let results make the noise. 2. Your Emotional Struggles Not everyone deserves access to your pain. Be honest—but be selective about who you open up to. Seek wisdom, not sympathy. 3. Your Self-Doubt Every man battles uncertainty. But constantly speaking doubt gives it power. Work through it privately and build confidence through action. 4. Your Good Deeds If you always announce your generosity, it becomes performance. Real character doesn’t need applause. Do good because it’s right—not because it’s seen. 5. Your Sex Life Some things lose value when overexposed. A man who talks too much about intimacy often lacks discipline and respect. Protect your private life. 6. Your Relationship Problems Every disagreement doesn’t belong on social media or in group chats. Too many outside voices can poison a relationship. Handle your business directly and maturely. 7. Your Financial Details Money attracts opinions, envy, and sometimes manipulation. Whether you’re struggling or winning—move wisely and quietly. Financial discipline is part of self-mastery. 8. Your Self-Improvement Process Too many men announce goals instead of building them. Don’t chase validation for the work. Share the results—not every rep in the gym. 9. Your Enemies and Grudges Talking constantly about enemies keeps you emotionally attached to them. Most grudges drain energy and distract from purpose. Focus on elevation, not obsession. 10. Your Standards A man who constantly explains or negotiates his standards usually doesn’t stand on them. Know your values. Know your boundaries. Move with quiet confidence and consistency. ALSO TALKED ABOUT: EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: “Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and communicate your emotions in a healthy and productive way. It’s not about being emotionless. It’s about not letting emotions control your decisions, reactions, relationships, or behavior. A man with emotional intelligence knows how to respond instead of just react.” 👉 Good follow-up discussion: reacting vs responding anger management emotional discipline communication in relationships reading the room DISCERNMENT: “Discernment is the ability to judge people, situations, and information wisely and clearly. It’s knowing: who to trust, what to say, when to speak, and when silence is the better move. Discernment helps protect your peace, your purpose, and your relationships.” 👉 Good follow-up discussion: oversharing trusting the wrong people social media exposure recognizing manipulation wisdom vs impulse SELF - MASTERY: “Self-mastery is having control over yourself instead of being controlled by your emotions, urges, habits, ego, or distractions. It’s discipline. It’s consistency. It’s accountability. Self-mastery means becoming the kind of man who can lead himself before trying to lead anybody else.” 👉 Good follow-up discussion: discipline temptation consistency accountability staying grounded under pressure growth without ego #lifelessons #mentorship #menssupport #dadlifematters #fatherhood #men

Baby Tattoos?! Parenting or Exploitation?

Title: Baby Tattoos?! Parenting or Exploitation? | The Men’s Lounge LA Description: A viral video shows a one-year-old child covered in full-body tattoos… but they’re washable. Still—does that make it okay? In this episode of The Men’s Lounge LA, Sir Frederick and Coach Chriss sit down with guests Rita Jarvis and Andrew to break down the deeper issue: Is this harmless content… or straight-up exploitation? The panel dives into the controversial case of a toddler (Tayen aka “Nugget World”) being styled with tattoos, designer outfits, and luxury sneakers—all for social media attention. Topics We Get Into: Are the tattoos really harmless if they’re temporary? Is the child being used for clout and money? Where’s the line between parenting and exploitation? Is this any different from “soccer moms” pushing kids into sports? What happens when a child grows up seeing this version of themselves online? Real Talk From The Panel: Rita calls it out as exploitative—even after learning the tattoos are fake Andrew says the child is being used as a prop for ego and gain Coach Chriss challenges the room: If the child is provided for, does it justify the hustle? Bigger Questions: What does this do to a child’s identity? Are we shaping kids—or branding them before they can speak? Drop your thoughts in the comments. Is this creative parenting… or crossing the line? 📌 Subscribe for more real conversations that challenge how we think, lead, and live.

Child Support, We Understand!

Esplicito
Explicit content!! haha just raw opinions on: child support, because it is something that affects family across America. Being a father is tough, child support usually affects you the most rather than the dead beats. so we ask at what standard is a dead beat dad? to us is the man step down when their kids need them the most. in words of coach Chriss "a bum". children are the ones who suffer the most, but having a father that supports his children helps a lot when it comes down to shaping the child. As well angry women who keep their kids from their father's pushing child support on them and torture the men that are trying. the men's lounge is a place for men to come and "man up" which means listening to you and help you be a better man.
