This conversation starts off in a pretty raw and vulnerable place. Please note, I mention a family member with mental illness and addiction in the beginning, but this does not go deep into either. Most of the discussion is focused on how I'm learning to show up in my power while dealing with circumstances beyond my control. I talk a lot about finding courage amidst fear and how personal empowerment is something different than what I believed it to be.
