Defeating The Lust Of The Eyes "Chapter 6" Don't Spare The Rod Series
Note sull'episodio
Today, we are focusing on Samson and how he struggled with the lust of the eyes. Samson was chosen by God from birth, yet his weakness often came through what he saw and desired.
In today’s world, many people face the same battle. The lust of the eyes doesn’t just apply to sexual sin—it can show up in pornography, food, shopping, money, relationships, or material possessions. Anything that captures our eyes and draws us away from God’s will can become a stumbling block.
Fighting against the lust of the eyes can be challenging, but it is not impossible. God’s Word exposes the truth and equips us to overcome temptation. Today, we will walk through scripture to see:
- What the Bible says about the lust of the eyes.
- How Samson’s choices serve as a warning.
- Practical ways we can resist temptation and live in victory.
