Contemplating Compline - 9/25/26

Today, in the Faith for the Day, Pr. Heckert reads from Psalm 51, Matthew 3, and a writing from the Rev. Dr. C. F. W. Walther and discusses how they all tie together rather nicely! In our first "Faith of our Forebears" segment, we examine the Daily Offices, specifically Compline, how they've come down to us Lutherans and how these services are liturgical gold, meant to help all Christians, lay and clergy alike, in their devotional lives! Keep your iron hot and your hammer at the ready as we delve into the Forge of Faith!
