Sign Special — THOREN · May 24 – June 12
THOREN · The Onyx Sign · May 24 – June 12
A special edition of The Dog You Chose. Most mornings, The Daily Companion reads all eighteen Companion Signs and moves briskly along — but every sign in the wheel deserves a portrait of its own, and this series takes them one at a time, in the order of the year.
Benedetto opens the paper from Gulfport, Florida. Violetta paints the full Thoren portrait: the Guardian of the pack, a dog running on the Den instinct and the Onyx's mood of Dependable Strength — protective, reliable, and constitutionally unable to leave a household unguarded. Its motto: "I've got you." Its habitat: the Family Home. Its warning, delivered kindly: beware of building walls instead of boundaries. And the portrait closes with the sign's lesson — allow change, and let consistency learn to bend.
A musical break from the author's own notebook: 'Free Advice Too Expensive.'
Thoren's readings run in the daily paper through June 12; on June 13 the wheel turns to Kestra. Find your dog's sign at dogyouchose.com. From The Companion Signs by Nick A. Shishkov — the first horoscope ever written for dogs.
